Cairo

Visit Cairo's most famous historic sites including The Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum with its thousands of artefacts including Tutankhamun's famous golden death mask. Our professional, English speaking Egyptologists will take you round these magnificent sites, walking the path of the pharaohs, amid magnificent colossal tombs, the last remaining wonders of the Ancient world. There's a choice of day trips and two day trips, by coach or air.

Luxor

Luxor, on the site of ancient Thebes, is often called the world's greatest open air museum, where more than 5,000 years of history are laid out in all their glory. Highlights include the magnificent Karnak Temple complex, with its monuments to Ramses II and the god Amun-Ra. Across the River Nile, visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, and, of course, the Valley of the Kings where tombs were constructed for the pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom. You'll find a choice of day trips and two day trips, by coach or air.

Abu Simbel

The UNESCO world heritage site at Abu Simbel consists of two massive rock temples carved from the rock face of a mountain 3,300 years ago, as a monument to Rameses II and his queen, Nefertari. In 1968, when the Aswan dam was being built, these mighty monuments were saved for future generations by being disassembled and rebuilt above the new shore line.

Karnak Temple light show

Enjoy an enchanting hour at one of Egypt's finest outdoor spectacles at the Temple of Karnak in Luxor. The temple comes alive as the history of the great Pharaohs of the 19th dynasty is narrated with dramatic sound and light effects, and you can join the procession through the darkened temple to the sacred lake.

Ras Mohammed National Park

The Ras Mohammed National Park, which includes large areas of coastline, islands and offshore reefs around Sharm el Sheikh, is famed for its wildlife, especially underwater, where nutrient rich waters support an abundance of vibrantly coloured corals and other marine life. Mahmya

Your opportunity to explore the beauty below the water around Hurghada and its nearby coral reefs as well as on it. Snorkel in the beautiful crystal clear waters of the Red Sea and explore the protected Giftun Island.

Glass bottom boat & submarine tours

If you like the idea of exploring the Red Sea's coral reefs, but don't want to get your feet wet, a glass bottom boat or "Seascope" submarine tour is just the ticket. You will enjoy a close up view of the colourful creatures that inhabit this undersea world from the comfort of an air-conditioned cabin. Don't forget your camera! National park entrance fees apply. Trips are available from both Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh.

Dolphin spotting

Enjoy a fantastic day-long boat trip from Hurghada with snorkelling on the coral reef, and a lunch stop on Twal Island, But best of all we'll take you to the hottest spots for seeing dolphins in their natural habitat.

Off-road adventures

The desert plains and stunning mountain scenery bordering the Red Sea are ideal for releasing your inner rally driver! Quad bikes are 4 wheel motorbikes. All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) are a cross between a quad bike and jeep, with seats plus sturdy roll-cage – quicker and more comfortable. Both are easy to drive. Includes safety briefing and equipment.

Bedouin Feast & ★ Gazing

Experience life with the Bedouin of the Sinai on this trip from Sharm el Sheikh. Try camel riding before watching the sunset paint the desert in shaded of red and gold. Enjoy an authentic Bedouin meal followed by an evening of star gazing as you view the beauty of the Milky Way in crystal clear desert skies.

Timing and itineraries are subject to change and in extreme cases cancellation, for instance, owing to adverse weather conditions. If we hear of any changes before you leave, we'll let you know. Should the excursion be cancelled, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Red Sea Holidays is acting only in the capacity of an Agent for the supplier in the sale of excursion/activity tours and tickets. When making an excursion/activity booking, you accept that you are entering into a contract directly between the supplier of the excursion/ activity and yourself. The excursion/activity providers' terms and conditions will apply.

Confirmation of the Excursion will appear on your confirmation invoice. If you decide to cancel your booking, then you may be liable for the full cost of the excursion /activity booked. This will be up to your excursion provider. The balance of the excursion price must be paid in resort. Note that overseas payments by credit/debit card may incur currency and transaction charges.
